Dr. Krista Markew, DC, is the Health Promotions Manager for the Magna Health and Wellness team. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and her Bachelor of Science from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. As a healthcare professional, Krista has a passion for educating and empowering others to live the healthiest life possible. She believes that given the proper resources and support, everyone is capable of making improvements in their health.

Virginia is a Health Promotion Coordinator for the Magna Health and Wellness Team. She received her Post Graduate Certificate in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion from Centennial College, as well as her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Psychology from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. As a Wellness Professional, Virginia promotes a holistic, upstream approach to health that aims at empowering individuals to make health choices. Virginia believe it is important to practice what you preach, and for this reason strives to live a happy healthy life.

Artem is a Health Promotion Coordinator for the Magna Health and Wellness Team. He is a Certified Exercise Physiologist with the Health and Fitness Federation of Canada and received a Specialized Bachelor of Honors Degree in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University concurrent with a Certificate in Fitness Assessment & Exercise Counseling. With his many years of experience in the fitness lifestyle and health industry – Artem believes that passion and discipline are the necessary attributes needed in order to build and maintain a strong, healthy, body and mind.

Claire is a Health Promotion Coordinator for the Magna Health and Wellness Team. After receiving her Honors Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Western Ontario, she began working in healthcare. She has spent many years working in clinical nutrition providing assessments, one-on-one counselling, recommending diet modifications for specific health conditions, and motivating health behaviour changes. She believes in the power of prevention, and takes a proactive approach to health whenever possible. In her spare time, Claire enjoys trying new fitness classes, restaurants, and exploring her city!

Dylan is a Health Promotion Coordinator for the Magna Health and Wellness Team. He is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and received a Specialized Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University, as well as a Master of Science in Health and Aging from Western University. He takes a functional approach to lifestyle management and believes that with the proper support and determination, a healthy and physically active lifestyle is always within reach. In his spare time, Dylan enjoys training for adventure races, camping, playing hockey, and competing in everything along the way.

She has spent many years working in clinics focusing on therapeutic exercises and the major impact exercise has on our overall wellbeing. She has a passion for health education and how to apply it to everyday life. In her spare time, Julia enjoys spending time at her cottage with friends and family, hiking, canoeing, and reading.

Roopa has experience working with at risk-communities where she empowered individuals to become the best version of themselves using holistic approaches to health and wellness.
Roopa believes that exercise and eating nutritious foods are important steps we can take to keep ourselves healthy. However, she emphasizes that health is also affected by access to social and economic opportunities. If we have the right education, resources, and supports we can lead happier and healthier lives.
In her spare time, Roopa enjoys spending time with family, baking healthy treats, trying new restaurants, and doing arts and crafts.
