Eat a well balanced diet: Diet is one of the biggest factors that can help decrease your risk of heart disease and keep your heart healthy and strong.Include a daily variety of fruits and vegetables such as colourful red peppers, dark leafy greens, bright lemons to add a zesty taste while improving nutritional content. Make sure to include protein and healthy fats, such as extra virgin olive oil, avocados, nuts and seeds.
4. Focus on a healthy lifestyle:Combine all of these tips with an active lifestyle, minimize your stress levels and have a regular sleep schedule. Creating lifestyle habits that you can be consistent with is what will get and keep your health at an optimal level. Include movement that you enjoy, take stretching breaks from work, and find 10 minutes daily to unplug from technology.
